Slip Ring Collector (Electrical Collector)

The ATEX Certified Slip Ring Collector, is fitted to the axle of a CT or wireline reel and provides electrical continuity for up to 8 conductors, allowing the transmission of power and electrical signals between the rotating reel core of a CT unit and stationary surface data acquisition equipment.

It can be used both in CT operations or wirline operations and is required for a variety of operations including logging and perforating.

And to ensure safety and quality standards are met the Slip Ring Collector is certified for use in hazardous areas, being both ATEX Ex ‘d’ Flameproof rated and IECEx certified. This, in addition to its compact design and simple installation, provides easy and safe operation in the well-site environment.

Hydraulic Collector

The Hydraulic Collector is available for installations that use hydraulic lines to control tools downhole. It provides a rotary connection to port these lines to the actuating equipment at the reel end of the coil. Interfaces are available for electrical collectors and CT reels.
